Troy Barbell 300 lb. Olympic Weight Set

Troy Barbell was founded in 1987 and is one of the world’s top free-weight manufacturers. They carry three separate product lines: USA which is their retail marketer, VTX, known for specialty and institutional fitness, and Troy which made for commercial use.

Troy Barbell offers many different types of iron plates and olympic bars and even olympic weight sets. They carry Standard Olympic Weight Sets featured in either gray or black in 300 pounds, 390 pounds, 480 pounds, and 570 pounds. A regular 300 lb olympic weight set features a 45 lb olympic-sized bar, 2-45 lb weights, 2-35 lb weights, 2-25 lb weights, 2-10 lb weights, 4-5 lb weights, and 2-2.5 lb weights. The set also includes 2 spring collars to keep the weights from falling off. Larger weight sets like 390 lb and above just include another set of 45 lb weights.

Troy Barbell makes many different types of plates to make your workout as efficient as possible. Troy Machine Grip Plates are made out of ASTM Grade 20 cast iron and are designed for heavy lifting. The plates interlock with each other for safety and so more weight can be added. This feature is also nice when lifting the plates. Troy also makes these same plates with a layer of rubber on top for the purpose of protecting floors and equipment. The Troy Urethane Encased Grip Plate are made with a top layer of polyurethane to be less porous, harder to break, resistant of odors, and no maintenance. All of these olympic sized weight lifting plates have a 2% accuracy level.

Troy also makes Wide Flanged Plates for easier gripping. These are similar to all the plates listed above only the Troy Wide Flanged Plates are made in a 100 lb plate.

Troy makes a line of regular plates that are 1″. These are not olympic-sized plates and are available in: 1.25 lb, 2.5 lb, 5 lb, 7.5 lb, 10 lb, 12.5 lb, 20 lb, 25 lb, and 50 lb.

No matter what you are looking for, Troy Barbell will be there for all your Olympic weight needs.
